About the Journal
Humanidades: revista de la Universidad de Montevideo is an open-access, peer-reviewed, indexed scientific journal. It publishes articles on Philosophy, History, Literature and Art and accepts scientific contributions in Spanish, English, French and Portuguese, from specialists from various national and foreign centres. The journal is indexed in: ERIHPLUS, Dialnet, DOAJ, EBSCO-Academic Search Ultimate, Latindex, Scielo, Scopus, among others.
Frequency: biannual, first issue: January–June and second issue: July–December, both in continuous publication mode. Texts are published immediately after approval and layout.

Humanidades: revista de la Universidad de Montevideo is published as a continuous publication every six months (January-June and July-December). Under this modality, the publication of the texts is carried out immediately after their approval and layout.
