Education for sustainability has gained relevance in the academic literature, from it some action plans have been proposed to work; however, the expected results have not been obtained, we still have many economic, social and environmental problems. The proposal presented in this paper is through the common good approach, specifically, the dimension of humanity. Based on this dimension, the virtues for sustainability from the second person perspective are proposed. The article is divided into three sections: the first deals with the theory of the dynamics of common goods and its dimensions; the second explains what virtues are from a second-person perspective; and finally, how virtues for sustainability can be explained from the two previous sections.
